(Yahoo!) - As if he isn't already a big star, now Justin Bieber wants to go to the stars!

The 19-year-old and his manager, Scooter Braun, 31, have signed up for an intergalactic adventure with Virgin Galactic, according to Virgin's billionaire founder, Richard Branson.

The British entrepreneur tweeted the exciting news:

Both stars retweeted Branson's message, but Scooter officially confirmed the exciting news via his own Twitter account.

Their space journey will reportedly set them each back $250,000, which probably seems like chump change to the teen heartthrob, who, according to Forbes, raked in a cool $55 million in 2012.

Taking a journey to the stars is something that has been on the Canadian cutie's mind for months. In February 2012, he dished to his 40 million Twitter followers, "I wanna do a concert in space." NASA seemed fond of the idea and replied, "Maybe we can help you with that."

The scientific community is clearly aware of the power of making the "Believe" singer a Biebernaut.
