Co-Worker: Saw Robert Miles Buy, Scratch Off $5M Lottery Ticket

A co-worker of Robert Miles says he saw Miles buy and scratch off a winning $5 million lotter ticket in October of 2006. It is the same ticket that Andy and Nayel Ashkar say belonged to them.

Ramon Rosario testified during the trial that accuses the Ashkar brothers of keeping Miles' ticket and trying to claim the winnings in 2012. Rosario was one of several co-workers of Miles who testified they saw him jump up and down, yelling he'd won the lottery. But Rosario was the only witness to say he actually saw the ticket close enough to read its value. Defense attorneys asked several of the prosecution witnesses about criminal records. Miles, who claims the ticket is his, admitted to setting fire to a car and being convicted of arson. Another witness said he had two drug convictions and a perjury charge.
