The Liverpool School District will ask voters to spend $38 million to make needed repairs to three of the district's schools.
The work will focus on what the district's Facilities Advisory Committee says is most urgent. The work includes roof repair for Liverpool High School and major renovations to Chestnut Hill Elementary and Middle Schools and addresses issues not updated since the 1950's. The price tag will add $60 yearly to the school tax bill of a home assessed at $100,000. The district will vote on the proposal March 20.
