Man Detained at Hancock When Fake Grenade Found in bag

The new security checkpoint at Hancock airport caused delays for about 100 travelers. Newschannel 9 says some people missed their flights during the airport's businest hour - between 5 and 6 a.m. The screening equipment is brand new and is being used by TSA agents for the first time. That, combined with the large number of travelers, contributed to the delay. Hancock is unveiling its new 60-million dollar renovation today.

On Tuesday - Newschannel 9 reports that a man was detained  Tuesday morning after a security screener saw a grenade in his luggare. It turned out to be a novelty replica. The San Antonio man was flying to Atlanta and was temporarly detained.
