There's been an arrest inside the mayor's office in Syracuse.
In a brief statement from City Hall, Mayor Stephanie Miner's spokesman says the receptionist at the mayor's office, 24 year old Emara Stanley, was arrested Thursday night by Onondaga County Sheriffs Deputies.
The mayor's office goes onto say that Stanley was terminated from her position at city hall Friday morning, and they want to thank members of law enforcement for thier efforts.
The Sheriff's Department say Stanley's arrest is part of an ongoing investigation and that Stanley was arrested on drug charges on the 1700 block of South Salina Street. She's been arraigned, but has posted five thousand dollars bail in her case.
No word on the charges she faces.
