Cortland County sheriff's deputies arrested one man after discovering a meth lab inside his home.
Deputies say they were called to the home on Chenango Solon Pond Road for a report of a wanted person on a parole warrant. A man fled on foot and another was still inside. Officers detected a chemical smell inside, and got the owner's permission to search the home. The search found items used in the manufacture of methamphetamines, as well as a marijuana growing operation. Deputies arrested 25-year-old Zackery Burlingame and charged him with several drug-related offenses, all felonies. He is in the Cortland County Jail in lieu of $3,500 cash or $7,000 bond.
