A nurse at a group home in DeWitt has been accused of neglecting care for a patient who later died.
35 year old Tanya Lemon has been charged with Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent or Physically Disabled Person in the First Degree.
Lemon is accused of sleeping on the job and failing to provide supplemental oxygen to a patient who needed it every two hours. Police claim that the patient went without that oxygen for eight hours and had to be hospitalized.
Investigator believe that it led to the patients death weeks later.
She's been arraigned on the felony charge and she's being held in the Justice Center on 15 thousand dollars bail.
