Oswego County health officials confirm they will perform more aerial spraying for Triple-E and West Nile viruses today after finding more evidence of it in the county.
Officials say the state health department found Triple E and West Nile in mosquitoes located in West Monroe and Central Square. Weather permitting, the county plans on spraying today. The targeted area will be the 10,000 acres north of Oneida Lake in the Toad Harbor area. Residents in the affected area will be notified via a reverse 911 call. The public is advised to keep windows and doors closed until 9 pm.
