(Albany, NY) State senator John DeFrancisco says many state employees are earning more money than their supervisors. Unlike state workers, DeFrancisco says state-employed managers, supervisors and commissioners are not represented by unions which negotiate regular pay increases. He says some department heads have not had raises in ten years.
DeFrancisco (R) has introduced a bill to form a commission to look into whether th state's supervisors, managers and commssioners should get a raise. Both houses would to approve the bill, which would also require Governor Cuomo's signature.
