Syracuse Attorney Sentenced On Kiddie Porn Charges

High profile Syracuse attorney Martin Rothschild has been sentenced today on child pornography charges.

Rothschild, known for his frequent TV commercials, stood before Judge Anthony Aloi and received three years in prison on a charge of promoting a sexual performance by a child.

He pleaded guilty earlier this year to the charges and had been free on bail. He'll also have to serve three years probation and register as a sex offender and give up his law practice.

Investigators say they found more than two dozen images of children performing sexual acts on his home and office computer. His offices were raided by federal authorities last year.

In court Wednesday, Rothschild offered an apology and said he felt remorse for the children in the videos.
